A large two-storey porch, which contains the most crowded program and is related to the public space of the shopping center to which it borders, generating a space of domestic and comfortable scale.
The upper floors grow in the shape of a tower, which is related to the staircase of the surrounding buildings. This compact shape allows to free up space on the floor and the perimeter of the building, making it more friendly to the environment, and gives continuity to the future park through the use of green roofs.
Given the high density of Hospitalet, the treatment of the discovered dividing wall with a large vertical garden is proposed, which serves as a green lung both for the equipment and for the city. This garden has great visibility from the street, which is one of the main several accesses to the neighborhood.
The combination of the tower and the socket makes these two elements the architectural protagonists. The socket is related to the immediate surroundings and the tower offers the slenderness thanks to its proportions.
The first two floors, contained within the concrete, are formalized as a large glass and wood, giving great transparency and luminosity to the public spaces.
The tower offers extensive views thanks to its height, while giving space to the street. To provide the offices with maximum light, a large horizontal window runs along the perimeter of the façade on each floor. A substructure of galvanized steel tubes supports a series of mobile shades, creating this characteristic façade.
